“NYEPI” THE DAY OF SILENCE

This year, on March 11th, 2024, Balinese will celebrate Nyepi, also known as the Silent Day. Nyepi marks the Balinese Saka New Year, during which the island observes a 24-hour period of silence and darkness from 6:00 am on March 11th to 6:00 am on March 12th, 2024.

On Nyepi, there will be no activities, lights, or sounds as the streets, businesses, and even the airport will remain silent. The resort offers a peaceful retreat where guests can disconnect, rejuvenate, and enjoy ultimate peace and serenity within the resort premises.

As a mark of respect for Nyepi, beach activities are not allowed, and the resort’s dining outlets, including Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, Bella Cucina, and Jimbaran Gardens, will be closed. However, guests can still savor a special Balinese and international buffet in the Imperial venue or enjoy regular service at KO, the Japanese restaurant. Additionally, special leisure activities are also provided on Nyepi Day.

Experience the enchanting traditions of Bali like never before in Jimbaran.
